Webwedding.com: Wedding Websites and Coordination Planning

Have you recently become engaged and are now planning the wedding of your dreams? So many couples struggle with what type of wedding to have all the time. Most people think you need to spend hundreds of dollars on the wedding to make it special but that’s not true. There are so many ways to have a beautiful wedding while making it everything you ever dreamed of. The key to making you and your partner happy is planning a wedding that your both going to cherish and remember forever. You can make it unique, fun and romantic all in one by just being creative. The first thing I would suggest before ever hiring a wedding planner or bringing in the family would be to go out for a nice romantic dinner for two so you can discuss what expectations and wishes you each have for the wedding. Then once you have an idea of what you are both wanting then you can bring in the families ideas and even hire a wedding planner if you wish. Once you know what everyone wants the fun can begin. You can the combine all ideas into something great.
Staying Traditional
If staying traditional is a must then things you can do to make your wedding unique is by adding a new tradition such as wearing a hair clip or veil that has been in your family for generations. Or have the groom do something silly such as throwing the bouquet to the guys instead of you throwing it to your girlfriends.
The Wedding Reception Menu
The menu always seems to be an issue at most weddings. The bride and groom may prefer lamb while the in laws want steak or seafood. Of course its about personal preferences but if your budget doesn’t allow you to cover many different choices then substitute them all for something more simple and inexpensive such as chicken or roast. One other thing that can make the menu a success is a decorative wedding cake. If your up for new things then why not choose a personalized wedding cake such as a picture cake of you two on your first date or a replica of something funny you two have shared in your years together. Maybe you met on the Internet so make your cake a 3 tier computer fully equipped with a matching keyboard.
Location
The location you choose can make your wedding more unique than you could have ever imagined. With thousands of destinations in the world the choices are endless. You could have a lovely beach wedding with everyone dressed in swimsuits and have a luau for the reception. A waterfall wedding would be beautiful for pictures but maybe a bit noisy. A wedding aboard a cruise ship would not only be romantic but would be convenient for a honeymoon afterwards if you are eloping. If your not a water person then how about doing something silly such as flying to Vegas for a Elvis wedding or jumping out of an airplane while repeating your wedding vowels?
This is just a few ideas to make your wedding unique but no matter how conservative or daring you are just talk with your partner and find what works best for you both and with a little creativity your wedding will be unique and a memory that you will always cherish.
Personal Wedding Websites are a relatively new tradition in which wedding websites couples may employ the use of planning and communication for their wedding. The websites are used for a variety of purposes including communication with guests, sharing wedding photos and videos with those who were unable to attend, and providing maps, hotel and destination information, bridal party and couple biographies, and profiling vendors. Increasingly the sites are being used as tools for wedding planning. Many do-it-yourself sites offer features like online RSVP and budget management tools to aid couples through the complex process

Le Méridien Malta Appointed New Wedding Champion

Le Méridien Malta Appointed New Wedding Champion

My role was created to oversee the whole wedding reception process, including the venue, the menu and the reception details”, says Sarah. “The Wedding Market has become a key factor at Le Méridien and the demand is there, as Malta itself is a popular venue for Weddings and Honeymoons. We need to be ready to provide our reputed 5 star services in that segment too! Although every wedding is different, the process is nearly always the same: once a couple decides what their budget is, my role is to liaise with the other Le Méridien associates involved, including Reuben Grixti, our talented Executive Head Chef and Andre Scerri, our Food and Beverage Director. Team work is extremely important.”

Sarah also emphasizes the importance of a good relationship with her clients: “The bride and the groom both need to feel that they can trust you. You need to make sure that you reach a clear understanding of the couple’s needs and expectations: listen carefully to the way they see things, ask the right questions and be able to also provide them with relevant ideas and suggestions. Quite naturally, brides tend to feel stressed about every little detail of their big day, so you need to reassure them and make them feel that everything is in control. This is the reason why they decided to have a Wedding Champion as a full-time position, here at Le Méridien: to make sure that someone owns the process and follows the couple through the whole organization of what must undeniably be the best day of their lives.”

“Every Wedding is a new experience and needs a specific approach”, enthusiastically states Le Méridien’s Wedding Champion. “Foreign couples need more help with local contacts. We get a lot of wedding requests from overseas and I have to guide them with any administrative requirement unless, of course, they chose to hire a personal wedding planner. On the other hand, local couples usually want traditional Maltese elements to be an integral part of their wedding. It was a real pleasure for me to learn about the local culture. If you have a passion for organizing events as well as a committed and professional team backing you up, then it all comes together beautifully.”

When questioned about possible challenges faced throughout the organization of a wedding day, Sarah Nunn keeps her bright smile on: “We’ve had a lot of success stories so far. Recently, we hosted a beautiful Indian wedding. The weather was fabulous the whole week preceding the reception. Unfortunately, on this precise day, it turned extremely windy. We had to contact the bride via a relative because she was in the middle of her four-hour wedding service. We needed the bride to take the decision on whether or not the reception should be moved inside at the last moment. It was quite a challenging day! But last minute changes are challenges that we are ready to take on board to ensure that every single wedding is as perfect and hassle free as can be for the couple and their family.”

Sarah carries on a more serious tone: “At Le Méridien St Julians, we make sure that we meet the couple as often as needed to discuss thoroughly any aspect of the wedding. We don’t only hire a venue or sell a menu: we provide personal assistance and we make it a point to achieve a professional result… and an unforgettable moment for the couple and their guests. It is not only our hotel’s reputation at stake… but also the successful start of a happy marriage. And this is what really matters to us.”

Sarah also insists on the polyvalence of the Hotel as a venue provider: “With regards to venue options, we can cater for large weddings with our Pisces banqueting hall which has an outside area and nice natural light. The exhibition space is on the same level and can also be used, with an outside patio. One of my favourite is the rooftop pool area and La Bajja restaurant on the 12th floor: it boasts truly amazing views on pretty Balluta bay! Our Ku De Ta bar & lounge is often popular with couples: indeed, it offers an original concept with outside terraces and contemporary features. Le Méridien St Julians’ parking is complimentary for large weddings, which is also quite an asset.”

Anything else to add? Sarah doesn’t hesitate: “Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa has only been opened for three years. Considering this, I’m pleased to say that we have already established ourselves as a great wedding venue provider. I love my job and I am very proud to be part of this adventure.”
