1. Gown shopping should be a priority on your ‘to do’ list. It takes months to make your dress, so give yourself plenty of time.

2. In our “do it yourself” world, you may be surprised by the high level of attention and care you will receive when shopping at a full-service bridal salon. Enjoy it! This is an important purchase and it should feel like it.

3. Wedding gowns tend to run small in size. You will probably need a gown that is a size or two larger than you are accustomed to buying. Do not panic!

4. When starting to shop, print out pictures of gowns that you like. This will help you explain to your bridal specialist what your perfect dress looks like. (more…)

On Sunday, November 22, 2009 from 2-5pm future brides and grooms will have the chance to meet with more than 120 of the nations most esteemed wedding experts as Weddings In Style Magazine presents A Whos Who in I Do! bridal show at the Royal Palm, located at 1901 Manhattan Blvd.
With the New Orleans Saints 9-0 for the first time in team history, the party will kick off early as guests and vendors unite to cheer on the Saints to another victory against NFC rival Tampa Bay. Guests are invited to arrive at 11:30am and watch the game in style with 2 big screen TVs, a cash bar with $5 specialty cocktails and a special game day menu.
